Friday Night Fights of Atlanta at Earthlink Live proved to be an ass kicking mixed martial arts battle
royale from event producers David Oblas and Jeff Zager's of Undisputed Productions. This past July
8, eighteen local and national warriors traded punches, kicks and submission holds. The night was a roaring
success for the fans. The fight between Kevin Gittemeier of McDonough,
Ga., who eventually won the fight, and Steve Kinnison of Chicago, IL was
a particularly explosive bout. The most brutal mauling of the night, though, was a local rap group
butchering the national anthem. They were chased off the stage by booing fans and beer cups after
three failed attempts to get the words right. The Fight Night was scheduled to air on CSS, but has
been postponed.
