THE JAPANESE TATTOO DESIGN HANDBOOK VOL. 1: THE NEW GENERATION OF TATTOO ARTISTS IN JAPAN
Edited by Matsuzaka Ichiro Book Review by Lisa Sharer
From the June 2008 issue of PRICK Magazine.
Over 65 pages and 100 designs of colorful
and detailed Japanese ink pieces; this book is
a great flip through for the tattoo aficionado.
A short intro at the beginning gives a little
history of the taboo art that is the Japanese
tattoo; followed with pages of artwork from
some of Japan's top irezumi artists. Keep it
on your shelf or in your shop, but definitely
make sure this book works its way into your
collection of references.
