DJ Dara
The Antidote
Breakbeat Science

It's often difficult for DJs to capture the energy of their live sets on a mix CD. However, drum & bass maestro DJ Dara seamlessly blends frantic-paced dance tunes from Optiv, Klute, Ebony Dubsters, and Total Science among others for what sounds like one long dance track that'll keep the party going 'til way past dawn. Sticking to deep-as-hell low-end beats and twisted rhythms, DJ Dara stays true to his drum & bass roots without ever coming close to the sometimes overly joyous elements of trance. It's clear that DJ Dara's intention is to dig into the listener's subconscious with beats and sounds that will make it impossible to sit down while this CD is on (unless you're driving or playing video games, in which cases there are other ways of channeling the energy). And while many mix CDs often become repetitive and boring, DJ Dara keeps things fresh by constantly changing them up.

DJ Dara is currently on the Planet Of The Drums tour.
