Frost
While Frost is something you should be finding on your car windows around this time of year, the Atlanta quintet of the same name is ready to heat things up a bit with its debut release. Although Frost is somewhat new to the Atlanta music scene, some of its members are veterans of the scene having been in prominent bands such as Vinegar Eel and Bliss. Filled with catchy hooks and anthemic riffs, that experience is apparent in Frost's debut EP on songs like the radio ready "What U Love" and "Darkness." Combined with Alicia Howell's vocals, which sound something like an angry version of Natalie Merchant, Frost looks to establish itself as one of Atlanta's best live acts.
