Fortress
Vagrant Records
Besides its crisp production and some new tech-y stuff,
Fortress is no more amazing than Kezia, Protest the Hero's
debut album. This new disc hovers between Coheed and
Cambria's prog-metal sound and crazy Mars Volta-ish jams. In
summary, it's probably better than anything else that has come
out this year, but considering the standards they set with
Kezia, it lacks catchiness and innovation.
