No, this is not a fundraiser, but there are others out there. I’m talking about recent
research that indicates tattoo shops may be the next free clinic. German researches
found that the vibrating needle of a tattoo machine can help you to produce more
antibodies when given a vaccine.
What does this mean exactly? Well, your body responds to a vaccine over time. The
antibodies and T cells become more potent when trying to fight off that infection. When
vaccines are distributed several times in different places (as a tattoo machine might do),
those antibodies and T cells will work much harder to hit all those different places. Make
sense? According to the study, the tattooed vaccination developed 16 times more antibodies,
which means that much more fighting off the sickness.
Now, what does this mean for tattooing? It means that this is literally an art that can
save your life. That’s right, this new method of vaccinations might even help prevent some
kinds of cancer. Almost everyone knows that cancer can be a debilitating disease for the
patient and the people around them. Are tattoo artists the nurses of the future? In particular,
this research was tested on the human papillomavirus which, sorry guys, can be the
cause of cervical cancer. Many women may be able to find new freedom in a tattoo.
Can you find any down sides to this? Well, as we all know tattoos can hurt a little bit;
especially, if you compare the pain of one little needle prick to several. I know I’m not the
only one that gets a little nervous when that appointment I made several months ago has
come around the corner. The idea of sitting through that again and you don’t even get a nice
piece of art left behind? I’m not sure everyone would sign up for that.
In researching this subject, I found another less hopeful group of people. Surprisingly, I
heard it called another cover for the Mark of the Beast. Yes, according to some extremists,
the antichrist can place his ownership label on you through a vaccine. So, there is an opinion
that these German researchers are not looking to help improve health, but little demons
doing the Antichrist's bidding.
Well, if you feel that way or not, one thing you should know is this might be the beginning
of a fight against AIDS. It has been said that this type of vaccine (which is being called
DNA vaccine) may help speed the search for an AIDS vaccine. Is it possible that the beast
is marking people by preventing them from getting aids? I'm not a divine individual, so I
couldn’t really tell you. One thing is for sure, however, if I could save some of the amazing
people I've met with this horrible disease, I think I’d have to try.
